It has been said that “being a good employer is essential to being a responsible corporate citizen.” We couldn’t agree more. Fostering healthy workplace environments and providing support and services to further the well-being and success of our – and your – team members is what we do best
(Team Bios)
. We encourage our team members’ individual and collective capabilities, providing them with the tools they need to keep improving their already exemplary performance. We benefit from the unique perspectives of our diverse and inclusive team and sustain this advantage through a culture of cooperation and openness. COS endeavors to embody its ethical standards, both through how we work and in the results attained. For a complete profile of our Mission, Vision and Core Values

Good corporate citizenship is integral to who we are. COS seeks to give back to the community through involvement in four initiatives, working with the same professionalism we bring to our consulting. We both encourage and support our team members in using their time and skills to add value to their communities. Our contributions and partnerships include:
- It’s amazing how much joy can come from one little ball. We would lik children and communities around the world to experience the transformative powers of sport and/or football. With your help, we will deliver 3000+ footballs/soccer balls to a different developing nation each year.
Share Your Ideas
and decide how
The Project
will unfold each year. We believe that active children enrich our world and seek to make a positive impact today and in future generations. For more information, please visit

The COS Leadership Series
– We aim to inspire and inform professionals by providing access to the knowledge and experience of successful leaders. Attending COS Leadership Series events will leave you inspired and empowered to initiate positive developments in social and business communities – local or global in scale.
Attending our events will develop skills that shape equitable and inclusive workplaces; specifically, informed problem-solving and visionary thinking.
The COS Leadership Series will provide you with the opportunity to meet other savvy professionals motivated to make a positive impact in the world.
Think COS
– This is a socially conscious global wiki community where people are encouraged to share their ideas to make a positive impact in our world. The People at COS facilitate the forums and update the topics to keep you informed about COS current developments and provide you with access to the latest evidence-based research. This site allows you to add, remove, modify and foster the development of a dynamic learning community that inspires others to participate in doing the same. Please do consider the skill set of the People at COS, and tell us how we can minimize our ecological footprint, and as a company, deliver services that encourage healthy environmental stewardship. COS Café
- A further initiative to understand and improve our team is our
COS Café, an informal monthly meeting where we invite suggestions, comments,
and feedback from the perspectives of the different areas of expertise represented
on our team. Visit our ThinkCOS blog for more
info and pictures about the COS Café.
Heart and Stroke Foundation – Corporate Occupational Solutions Inc. is considering
and the prospect to partner with the Heart & Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca).
Numerous opportunities to enhance people and cultures exist between our organizations,
we are positive a relationship agreement will be finalized shortly and communities
will benefit immensely.
Connectra
– We work with Connectra (www.connectra.org) to link people with physical disabilities
to a best fit employer, and foster individual development to allow people to grow,
gain confidence and become increasingly more active and involved in their community
life. Our aim in working with Connectra is to assist people with disabilities living
in the Lower Mainland, to find great employers, and assist with seemless integration
into the workforce. We work to prepare, train, and educate the all parties to foster
the development of an optimal workplace.
International China Concern (ICC) – We strongly support the mission and
vision of ICC (www.chinaconcern.org). While international aid is not
our focus, we know that our team of trained health professionals can enhance the
lives of abandoned, underprivileged and disabled children in China. We support ICC
by entering a COS team in their Walk the Wall campaign (www.walkthewall.org),
and plan to regularly send a number of health professionals to mainland China to
assist in their endeavors.
